Fall 2010

WOW!! So I started this as a 'weekly blog' - haha!! It's looking like it's more of a 'monthly' or even 'seasonal' blog!! Things have been so busy this fall with Adam and I both starting our new jobs, but everything is starting to become more balanced as we are into our new schedule/routine! Ella loves 'school' and Adam and I are enjoying our teaching positions! I've had a birthday and am LOVING fall and all of the fun activities it brings!

Toward the end of September we had a 'kick-off' to fall/school year with Ella's little playdate friends! They all enjoyed playing and as always it was nice for the adults to enjoy some time to chat!

Then came October - and just like last year, we've had an activity just about every weekend!! We started with the Oktoberfest at the Frontier Culture Museum! The girls really enjoyed dancing..

and riding the wagon around to all the farms while we pulled them along!!

We headed to WVa for some apple cider making and to enjoy birthday activities with Nana as well as Taste of Our Town!! It was an awesome weekend!!

Ella is becoming quite the ham in front of the camera!!

Next, we went to Down Home on the Farm - which we went to last year - be sure to check out Ella's picture on the side because she rode the cow train last year, but was too little to ride alone or with a friend - but NOT this year - she made it clear that she did not want to ride with an adult!!

My favorite part is the hay ride to the pumpkin patch - which Ella is seen here enjoying!

Here we are picking our pumpkins!!

And this weekend - we just enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL outdoors as a family!!!

Thanks to everyone who still checks up on us via the Conner Chronicles, and HOPEFULLY I'll have more time to post - these next couple weekends are going to be packed with fun Halloween activities, and I really would like to get some of the pics up!
