Lots of Photos!!

Ok - so the main thing about this post was getting these pics up! They are all out of order for some reason (perhaps because I'm being so kindly 'helped' by Ella :-)) but since the farm show post we've been doing SO many fun things - and this weekend was the first since the first of October that we just got to be HOME - and get things done that needed to be (like go through her clothes AGAIN! -she's already in 3T!), plus just spend time enjoying each other (with a family 'movie night' last night complete with popcorn, hot chocolate and a floor full of blankets and pillows, plus Family Swim time at the Y today!)

As you can see we all dressed up for Halloween and it made it SO MUCH FUN for everyone!

Nana and Bob also came in for the fun - and they had these awesome blow up costumes - they definitely got lots of attention with those!

Ella had LOTS of opportunities to dress up! And she used different costumes for the events :-) - here she and some of her friends are going trick-or-treat in downtown Staunton - it was SO cold!

The leaves are falling and we've had lots of fun jumping in them!! Here, Ella was jumping in them with Nana!

This is the finished product from pumpkin carving!

Ella was not sure about the insides of the pumpkin (as you can see below) so she preferred to paint them (above :-))!

These next few are from the Halloween Playdate/Party we had here at our house, and mixed in are ones from the Halloween Party at church, which was the next day. I had it all laid out to chronicle her party in a post, and then post again all the other stuff, but again just wanted to get all the Halloween pics up.

At her party, we had TONS of activities for the 10 children that came! One thing, was decorating cupcakes, which of course was a big hit!!

These 2 pics are from the church party, where she played with her friends, and they had a jump house - her absolute FAVE! Adam was the 'bouncer' for the bounce house to make sure everyone stayed nice and safe so she got LOTS of time to bounce!!

The rest of these show her party - we had crafts, pumpkin painting, cupcake decorating, snacks, and Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin movie at the end! Everyone had a wonderful time, and we hope to make it a tradition!

Now we are settling in for the cold weather (and the time changed this weekend so it gets dark super early!), and of course gearing up for the holidays! Ella is enjoying children's choir practice on Wednesday evenings, where she is practicing to be an angel!!
