It's been a while!

Ok, so now I am REALLY behind on keeping up with this blog! Things have been so busy lately! Last week was crazy, and Ella has been sick - so all of you know what it's like to have a sick baby in the house! I am home from work with her today, which is why I'm taking the time to catch up while she is sleeping!
So the latest since last blog is that Ella has started music class!! Every Thursday night she goes to Musikgarten (check it out :-) http://www.musikgarten.org/) at the Parks and Rec dept. So far (we have been to two) she seems to enjoy it, and we noticed her 'participating' even more the second class. It's great for us to have an activity to do as a family, and since Ella has always loved music we want her to be around it as much as possible!
This past weekend, as you can see from the pictures, Ella was visited by her Uncle Bradley and Nana Fisk. Bradley was in for his spring break to do some nursing hours at our Center! We had a great evening with him Thursday night, and then Nana came on Friday and stayed through Saturday afternoon! We had a GREAT time - we all spent some time in the hot tub after Ella went to bed, and then went to have some lunch and do a little shopping Saturday morning. The pic above is Ella and Nana Fisk at lunch!

Another interest of Ella's for now is books! She LOVES being read to, and picking up books to carry around and look at! Last weekend, we were pretty 'low key' but we did go to the Green Valley Book Fair (http://www.gvbookfair.com/) which is a huge warehouse for books and got Ella loaded up with new ones!

She really enjoyed spending time with her Uncle Brad! Especially waking him up early in the morning on Saturday (since he is not particularly the 'early riser')!

Here she is really 'hamming it up' for her visitors! She of course was dancing around, and showing them all her 'tricks'!

And finally - we have a picture of her doing yet another one of her favorite things, which is chasing the poor kitties around the house! She loves running after them yelling, while they just try to duck for cover, or as Sully is doing in this picture - ask to be let outside!
So I think that is all for now! We are hoping that the weather will finally be spring-like and stay that way! We are planning to get the deck furniture out this weekend and possibly plant some flowers - but of course it is calling for rain so we shall see!
Adam and I (and yes Adam is actually very excited about this too!) are planning Ella's first birthday! We ordered the 'supplies' online for her Baby Einstein themed event that is coming up before we know it!! I CAN NOT believe we are coming up on a year - wow! More info on that will surely follow in the next few weeks, as the countdown begins!
