The two Adams!
It's been a while! First time that it's been over a week - I knew there would definitely come a time where I wouldn't keep up as much, but I still love blogging and wouldn't want to disappoint those that frequent our site (and we do have some fans!)SO - we had an awesome weekend (extended weekend!)! I stayed home with Ella on Friday - our babysitter had some appointments, and I truly just wanted a day to be with her - we had a blast! Then, Friday evening we spent with Ella's great-grandparents. They are always so wonderful to us - they help us ALL the time and we don't take the time to thank them like we should, so we took them out to dinner. Ella loved spending time with them, and after we ate we spent some time at the mall. Ella hasn't been to the mall since she could walk and she had so much fun with the wide open spaces there - she basically walked from one end to the other and was completely out of breath and exhausted by the time we left! She also played in the play area, and rode the little cars.
Then Saturday we finally got to spend some much needed time with our friends Adam and Bailey (and their daughter who is about to turn 3, Kinley). They have been our closest friends for about three years now and we haven't been able to see them for almost 3 months!! Bailey is pregnant and we are so excited that she will be having another girl! Now that Ella is bigger she and Kinley were able to play and the adults were able to catch up (meaning Bailey and I talked non-stop and the two Adams were able to catch up on some video game time!) Check out Bailey's website on the side of this page (the Makeover Momma one under blogs we follow) - she is awesome because she has written a book that will be published! (little 'shout out' for her there!) The pictures are of course above (I'm having trouble posting them where I want to!)
Sunday and Monday were both snow days! It was beautiful and is actually still sticking around! We probably got around 5-6 inches! Ella got another chance to wear her snowsuit - yay! Another bitter sweet parenting moment also occurred because I had to clean out Ella's closet and drawers (once again) because she is now in 12 month! clothes!! I really can't believe it - her first birthday is just around the corner! People told me that time flies when you have a child, but I guess I had to experience it for myself!
AND (finally) we got some news on the job front!...our Center is staying open! Here is the latest article I could find, we are just waiting for the governor to put on his actual signature. http://www.newsleader.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2009902270330
